Who says there aren't good roles for "mature" cat actresses??
At the ripe old age of 12, Maggie was recently chosen to appear in a new
Petsmart tv commercial that was filmed in Phoenix.  She was the ultimate
professional, lasting through many takes.  Of course, Maggie's always known
she was destined to be a tv star someday.  You can see the commercial
here and read more about Maggie on our Rest of the Gang page.

Newsflash...Skyler & Gilligan traveled from Phoenix to Albuquerque, New Mexico, recently where they filmed a few scenes for an exciting feature film.  They jointly played a role in the movie, “The Book of Eli”, a post-apocalyptic thriller starring Denzel Washington, Gary Oldman and Mila Kunis.   After nailing a difficult scene in just three takes, Skyler even got a standing ovation from the crew that was led by Denzel himself.  Be forewarned...it isn't a "glamour" role, this cat has survived the apocalypse so both boys had to be made up to appear dirty and grungy.   They were real troopers though and received several compliments from the cast and crew.  Want a preview?  The movie trailer can be found here, and Gilligan appears approx 1 minute into the clip.  He's the scruffy-looking critter eating scraps off the table top (it was really cat food).

Update:  The movie finally came out and both boys made the final cut.  Gilligan appears in several wide-angle shots in the bar.  Skyler has a couple of nice close-up shots meandering across the bar and hissing at Eli.

Skyler also appears in an independent production of Stephen King's "Everything's Eventual" which was shot in Phoenix.   The movie screening was held in Tempe, and there are rumors swirling that
this film may soon be available to a wider audience.  Fingers crossed....

Jasper relaxes with actress Barbara Hershey on the set of an independent film titled "Uncross the Stars".  As you can tell, he was quite smitten!  The movie was shot near Phoenix, Arizona, and was originally called Vacuuming the Cat (which gives a big hint about one of Jasper's scenes <vbg>).
You can see a trailer for the movie here and other movie info is here.

Update:  Uncross the Stars is available on DVD and Jasper did make it through editing!!!  Below is a still shot Jasper being vacuumed.  At one point, he even rolled over so Barbara could get his tummy.

Jasper and his "kitty stunt double", Lucky, made their television debut in the tv movie, S.I.S. Special Investigation Section, on Spike TV.  These blue lynx mitted brothers jointly played the role of "Fluffy, the asthmatic cat" (LOL) and we're glad Fluffy made it through the final editing.  S.I.S. was filmed in Arizona in the spring of 2008 and may possibly become an ongoing series - the guys are keeping their paws crossed!

Located in Central Arizona, Dixie Willow has big, floppy babies with that special Ragdoll purrsonality. Our Ragdolls are from some of the best known bloodlines, including Supreme Grand Champion lines. Our cats and kittens are a special part of our lives and get plenty of individual attention and love. Dixie Willow Ragdoll cats and kittens may be registered and shown with CFA, TICA, and ACFA.   We regularly show in Phoenix and Tucson as well as Southern Californa (including Palm Springs, San Diego, and the LA area).  We also occationally travel to Las Vegas, Nevada.

Dixie Willow became involved with Ragdoll cats more than 12 years ago. We chose Ragdolls because we absolutely love the breed and everything about it.  Although Ragdolls are long-haired, they are much easier to care for than many typical long-hair breeds since their coats seldom mat and they shed much less than other breeds. The laid-back, docile demeanor and social nature of the Ragdoll makes it a perfect pet for almost anyone…from single folks to families with responsible children.
